Every year, Puri becomes a sea of unwavering faith. Lakhs of devotees leave the comfort of home, travel thousands of kilometres from every corner of India, and endure heat, hunger and exhaustion with just one wish in their hearts: to witness the divine journey of Lord Jagannath, Lord Balabhadra and Devi Subhadra during the world-famous Rath Yatra.

But devotion has a cost. Pilgrims stand for hours under the scorching sun. Elderly devotees, mothers with children and the poor often go without water or a proper meal, leaving many devotees weaker even before they receive the Lord's darshan. In a crowd of lakhs, even a bottle of clean water can be hard to find.

Riddhi Siddhi Charitable Trust is organizing a large-scale Annadaan Seva — a mass food distribution drive offering freshly cooked meals, clean drinking water and fresh fruits to lakhs of pilgrims throughout the Yatra.
